Check Upcoming IIT JEE MAINS EXAM DATE 2020


The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Mains is conducted every year to offer admissions in NITs, IIITs, IITs and other centrally funded technical institutions (CFTIs) across the country. 

National Test Agency has started the online application procedure for the IIT Joint Entrance Exam for January session, 2020. In order to apply you have t0 visit jeemain.nic.in. 

For applying for JEE Mains Exam 2020, follow the steps mentioned below -

  1. Fill the application form according to the details asked.
  2. Upload image according to the dimensions mentioned.
  3. Proceed to make the Online Payment.
  4. Take a Print out of the confirmation page.

For the year 2020 NTA has introduced a few changes in the IIT JEE Mains exam pattern. NTA will organize the JEE Mains exam twice in the year 2020 in CBT Mode. The exam pattern involves 3 papers -

Paper 1 - BE/B.tech

·         Total 75 questions, with 25 questions each in Physics, Chemistry and Maths.
·         Total 300 marks.
·         Language of the paper will be both in English & Hindi.
·         Each correct response 4 marks will be given.
·         For each Incorrect answer 1 mark will be deducted.
·         Numeric Value questions are added and it will fetch you 4 marks for every correct response, with no negative marking.

Paper 2 - B.Arch

·         Total 77 questions with 25 questions in Mathematics, 50 in Aptitude Test, and 2 in Drawing.
·         Total marks 400.
·         For every correct answer 4 marks will be given and for each incorrect answer, 1 mark will be deducted.

Paper 3 - B.Planning 

·         100 questions with 25 in Mathematics, 50 in Aptitude Test, and 25 questions in Planning Based Objective Type.
·         Total 400 marks.
·         For every correct answer 4 marks will be given and for each incorrect answer, 1 mark will be deducted.

  • The application fee for the Joint Entrance Exam has increased for each category, for boys the application fee is Rs 500 and for girls it is Rs 250.
  • There is no offline mode for making the payment.
