The SI recruitment drive involves following 4 stages -
  1. Online Written Examination (Prelims & Mains)
  2. Documentation 
  3. Physical Standard Test (PST)
  4. Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

BPSSC Exam Pattern for SI Exam 2019
  • Written Objective Type.
  • Shall be conducted in two phases i.e. preliminary and mains.
  • Prelims will be of 200 marks and 100 questions.
  • Time allotted for the preliminary exam will be 2 hours.
  • Negative marking of 0.2 marks for each wrong answer will be there.
  • Mains shall comprise of two papers each of 2 hours.
    • Paper I - 100 Questions of 200 Marks in Hindi.
    • Paper II - 100 Questions of 200 Marks in General Studies, General Science, Civics, Indian History, Indian Geography, Mathematics & Mental Ability.
