Check Details for IIT JEE APPLICATION FORM 2020


NTA or the National Testing Agency has released the notification for Joint Engineering Exam 2020. The IIT JEE application form has been released on 3rd of September 2019 and the last day to submit the application form is 30th September 2019. The IIT JEE Mains exam will be held twice this year in January and April. You can appear in both and both the attempts will be counted as one.
You can fill the application form for IIT JEE Mains 2020 only when you fit in the following aspects –
·         You must have qualified the 12th Standard exam either in 2018 or 2019.
·         If you are about to appear for the 12th standard exam in the year 2020, then also you can apply.
·         If you belong to the General category then it is necessary that you score at least 75% in 12th and if you belong to SC/ST/PWD then you have to secure at least 65%.
·         You must not have attempted JEE Mains exam more than thrice.
This time NTA has changed the application procedure, making the entire process from form filling to submitting completely Online. In the application form you have to provide personal academic and contact details along with a valid photo ID. The payment of JEE Main application can be done using either net banking/credit card/debit card/UPI or PayTM.
Once you have successfully submitted the application form a confirmation page will be which you have to download or take a printout. In case there are any mistakes or need for a change in the application form, you can do it through the correction window, made available from October 11 to 17, 2019.
