SSC CPO Recruitment 2019: Eligibility Criteria, Recruitment Process


Candidate can apply for SSC CPO (Staff Selection Commission Central Police Organization) for the post of Sub Inspector in Delhi Police, Assistant Sub Inspector and Central Armed Police Forces by filling the registration form on the SSC CPO official website and the payment to be done online. IBPS SO Recruitment 2019: Eligibility criteria

Not all candidates can appear for the SSC CPO Recruitment Process. Some criteria have been set for the candidates who can appear for the examination. The candidate should consider the mentioned points to know whether he/she is eligible for the post or not.
  1. The minimum age limit is 20 yrs and the maximum age limit is 25 yrs as of date 01-01-2020.
  2. The age relaxation has also been given to the candidate based on the category of the candidate. The candidate from SC/ST category gets 5 yrs relaxation whereas OBC Category gets 3 yrs relaxation and ExSM for 5 yrs.
  3. The candidate should have a Bachelor degree from any recognized university as of 01-01-2020.
  4. There is some specific requirement for the post of Sub Inspector in Delhi police office. The male candidate should have a valid driving license. Without the licence male candidate would not be able to appear for Physical Standard and Endurance Test.

The recruitment process is started with the SSC CPO Examination which consists of two paper: Paper-I (Prelims) and Paper-II(Mains). Both the papers are conducted in online mode. Both the paper should be cleared by the candidate 

  1. Paper-I (Prelims) Exam will be conducted for 2 hrs from 9th December to 13th December 2019. This examination will contain questions from various fields like General Intelligence and Reasoning, quantitative aptitude, English Comprehension and General Knowledge.
  2. The candidate who clears the Prelims exam can only appear for the Mains Exam. the date or the Mains examination is yet to be released. The Mains exam will only contain questions related to English Language and COmprehensive Skills.
  3. After clearing both the Prelims and Mains, the candidate has to give physical Standard test and Physical Endurance test(PST and PET).
