CTET EXAM PATTERN 2019 – Check for details
CTET (Centre Teachers Eligibility Test) is a
national level exam conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).
CTET provides a great opportunity for the candidates aiming for a teaching career
in primary and upper primary stages. The primary stage consists of classes I to V
and upper primary stage which can be also referred to as the elementary stage is for the
appointment for the classes VI to VIII. CBSE conducts the CTET exam twice a
year.
The CTET exam pattern is given by CBSE itself and
has not been changed over a few years now. This exam is going to be held on 8th December,
2019. Candidates appearing for this examination needs to go through the CTET
exam pattern very carefully and prepare accordingly,
The CTET exam is going to be in two different
levels for the primary stage and upper primary stage with Paper I and Paper II
respectively. Both the papers will be conducted on the same day at different
shifts.

- The total
time duration for Paper I and Paper II will be 2.5 hours (150 minutes)
each.
- Paper I
is for primary stage (Classes I to V) and Paper II is for upper primary
stage (Classes VI to VIII) and for candidates aiming on both the stages
will appear for both the papers (I & II).
- For every right answer selected 1 mark will be given to the
candidate and for any wrong answer given by the candidate there will be no
negative marking.
