JEE Mains Exam Preparation Tips
National Testing Agency commonly known as NTA is conducting the Joint Engineering Exams 2020 twice. The examination will be held in January and April 2020. The application procedure in order to participate in the exam has concluded and now admit card for the exams to be held in January is to be released on the 6th of December 2019 for which the exam will be conducted from 6th to 11th January 202o. The JEE Mains exam is being conducted for admission in following courses -
B.E/B.Tech
B. Arch
B. Planning.
Let’s take a look at the JEE Mains Exam 2020, understand the JEE Mains exam pattern properly in order to build a full proof study plan and exam strategy.
JEE Mains Exam Pattern 2020
You might be aware that along with the changes in the application process, NTA has also changed the exam pattern, let’s look at the changes.
- As stated above there will be 3 papers for JEE Main 2020.
- Paper 1 for B. E/ B. Tech,
- Paper 2 for B.Arch,
- Paper 3 for B.Planning.
- Paper 1 will be of 77 questions, 25 questions from each section.
- Paper 2 is is only set for B.Arch courses and it will consist of 77 questions and the total marks allotted is 400.
- Paper 3 will be of 100 questions and the paper will be of total 4oo marks.
- Exam will be computer based, MCQ type with each question having 4 options to choose from.
- Each correct response will award you 4 marks and incorrect response will cost you lose of 1 mark.
- Whether it is B. Tech, B. Arch or B. Plan there will be 20 MCQs + 5 numeric value questions.
- The drawing part of B. Arch will be in pen and paper mode.
- Questions will be based on Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Aptitude and Drawing.
- Total time duration for each exam whether B. Tech, B. Arch and B. Plan will be of 3 hours.
- B. Tech exam will be having 75 questions with 25 each from Physics, Chemistry and Maths. Total marks will be 300.
- B. Arch exam will be of 400 marks involving 77 questions out of which 25 in maths, 50 in aptitude and 2 in drawing.
- B. Plan will also be of 400 marks and 100 questions with 25 questions in maths, 25 in aptitude and planning based 25 questions will be there.
JEE Mains Exam Preparation Tips
- Know all about the exam, read about the exam pattern, syllabus carefully.
- Develop speed and accuracy by solving as many mock tests as possible in a day.
- Do self analysis while solving questions and re-read the hard topics.
- Build solid concepts, keep revising notes.
- Solve questions of varied difficulty levels and patterns.
- At last the most important tip is to keep faith,sleep well, keep good care of your health.
