The JEE Advanced 2020 exam will be conducted by IIT Delhi under the guidance of the Joint Admission Board (JAB). It is a national level entrance exam conducted every year by IITs on a rotational basis. This entrance exam is the only gateway to get admission in Bachelor’s, Integrated Master’s, or Bachelor Master Dual Degree Courses. Admission will be provided to exam qualifying students in Engineering or Architecture Courses in top institutes of IITs, CFTIs, NITs, etc.
- All the Indians and foreigner candidates will be eligible to apply.
- Candidates must have qualified their 10+2 or equivalent examination in 2019 or 2020. Candidates must have scored 75% marks (65% for SC/ ST/ PWD category in 12th examination. Candidates must have born after October 1, 1993. Relaxation of 5 years will be given to SC, ST and PWD candidates.
- Candidates will only be able to apply for JEE Advanced maximum of two times in two consecutive years.
- It will be essential to appear in JEE Main 2020 for applying JEE Advanced 2020.
- Candidates will have to come under the top 224,000 qualifying candidates in JEE Main 2020 (including all categories).
- Candidates whose admission at IITs was cancelled after joining any IIT will not be eligible to appear in JEE Advanced 2020.
Documents to be submitted at the time of filling the application form are:
- 10th class result or certificate (for Date of Birth verification)
- Birth certificate (if dob is not mentioned in 10th certificate)
- 12th exams result or certificate
- Category Certificate (If you are SC/ ST/ OBC-NCL)
- PWD certificate (if it is necessary)
- PIO/ OCI certificate (if it is applicable).
